Q&A
A: Absolutely! The self-guided driving tour is great for families. Kids can enjoy the stories and natural scenery, plus there are plenty of stops for them to explore, like the Little Lake museum and village shops. Just make sure they’re old enough to sit through some driving since the tour involves a bit of time in the car, but younger ones should be fine too!
A: You can definitely reschedule! Since you have lifetime access to the tour through the app, you can choose to do it on another day when the weather is better. Just keep an eye on the forecast, especially if you're traveling from Green Bay.
A: Parking is pretty straightforward! The tour starts at the Welcome Coffee Pot, which has a parking lot right next to it. Just follow the app directions, and you’ll be there in no time. Plus, it’s a cute spot to grab a coffee before you hit the road!

Considering the self-guided tour at Washington Island - any tips?
I’m thinking of gifting this self-guided driving tour to my parents for their anniversary. They love exploring new places but sometimes need a little nudge to get out of town. I’m curious about how long the tour actually takes if you stop at all the spots. Also, any must-see recommendations along the way?
Just did the Washington Island tour! Here’s my experience!
I just finished the self-guided driving tour and wow, it was amazing! The audio guide had such interesting historical tidbits about the ferries and the island’s heritage. We especially loved the Little Lake museum—it was so unique! If you go, be sure to check out the beaches too. The views were stunning, and we took tons of photos!
