Q&A
A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if the weather isn't cooperating. A1A Outdoor Center is pretty flexible with that, but I'd recommend calling them directly to lock in a new date. They want everyone to have a great experience, so they'll work with you on that!
A: Yes, this kayaking tour is suitable for kids! Generally, they recommend that kids be at least 8 years old to paddle alone, but younger kids can ride with an adult. Just make sure everyone in your group is comfortable on the water. Bring life jackets for the little ones!
A: Wear comfortable, quick-drying clothes like swimsuits or athletic wear. Definitely bring a hat and sunscreen, too! Water shoes are a good idea since you might have to get in and out of the kayak at some point. And don’t forget a waterproof bag for your valuables!

Thinking of gifting the self-guided kayak tour for my parents! Anyone done it?
I'm considering getting my parents the self-guided kayaking tour in Cape Canaveral. They love being outdoors and have done some kayaking before. I just want to make sure it’s as great as it sounds! How’s the wildlife viewing? Any tips for making it special for them?
What’s the best time of year for dolphin and manatee viewing?
I’m planning to go on the self-guided kayak tour, but I’m curious about when the best time is to see dolphins and manatees. I heard winter is great, but what about other times? Any insiders here?
