Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for the snowshoe experience, but it's best suited for ages 8 and up. Younger kids might have fun, but they need to be able to manage the snowshoes and keep up. Adults love it too, so it's a great family activity!
A: Layering is key! Wear moisture-wicking base layers and insulating layers on top. Don’t forget waterproof gloves and a warm hat. Sturdy, waterproof boots are a must too. You'll be walking in the snow, so comfort is super important!
A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather isn’t looking good! Just reach out to Tahoe Multisport, and they’ll help you find another date. They’re super flexible with that kind of thing, especially in winter when conditions can change fast.

Thinking of gifting the Self Guided Snowshoe Experience at Lake Tahoe!
Hey everyone! I'm considering getting the Self Guided Snowshoe Experience at Lake Tahoe for my sister's birthday. She loves the outdoors but hasn’t snowshoed before. The idea of hiking to a lookout with views of the lake sounds amazing! But I’m a bit worried about the logistics—how's the parking there? And any tips for a newbie?
Just went snowshoeing at Lake Tahoe and it was awesome!
I just did the Self Guided Snowshoe Experience at Lake Tahoe last weekend, and wow, what a blast! The snow was perfect, and I even got some birds to eat outta my hand! The digital map was super handy. It really made exploring easier. I’d say it’s perfect for anyone looking to chill in nature, but definitely dress warm!
