Q: What's the age limit for kids on the manatee swim tour?

A: The tours are great for all ages! Kids as young as 5 can join in, but make sure they’re comfortable in the water since swimming is involved. Just an FYI, everyone has to wear a life vest, and they provide those for you. It’s a fun family outing!

Q: What happens if the weather's bad on the day of the tour?

A: If the weather isn’t cooperating, they’ll usually reschedule your tour for a later date. Safety is their top priority! Just keep an eye on your email or give them a call if you're worried, but they’re pretty good about keeping everyone in the loop.

Q: Do I need to bring anything specific for the swim?

A: You don’t need to bring much! Just a swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen. They provide all the snorkeling gear and even bottled water. I’d recommend waterproof sandals too, since the boat can get a bit slippery. Oh, and maybe a light jacket for the boat ride if it’s cooler!

I went on the semi-private manatee swim tour last month, and it was AMAZING! The boat was heated, which was such a plus since the morning was chilly. We saw so many manatees up close, and the guides took awesome photos for us. I’d definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a unique experience!
