Private Tour is too expensive and Bus Group tours are not very personal. This is a perfect tour for you. Usually there will be only one other couple or two. We guarantee no more then 8 people on this trip. Sometimes you may be lucky and the only group on the tour and we will still honor our commitment and not cancel the trip. The guide gets ample time to work with each couple one on one and you are not in a herd of sheep. Departing Fresno or Oakhurst, this 8-hour tour of Yosemite National Park covers some of the Yosemite Valley's natural highlights. Capture photos of Bridalveil Falls, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and Yosemite’s high country, and hike down the 4-Mile Trail between spring and fall. Ahwahnee Lunch, entrance fees, and hotel pickup and drop-off are included. Please note if you plan to do the 4 mile hike there will not be enough time for you to have lunch in Ahwahnee so we will provide you with a picnic lunch.

Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age limit for kids to join this Yosemite tour?

A: Yes, children must be at least 7 years old to join this tour. It's designed to be enjoyable for both kids and adults, but the hiking can be a bit challenging for younger ones. If you're considering it for a family outing, just make sure your kids are up for the hike on the 4-Mile Trail, especially in warmer months!

Q: What happens if it rains on the day of our tour?

A: If it rains, the tour will still proceed unless conditions are unsafe. The guides will adjust the itinerary to focus on indoor highlights if necessary. It's a good idea to bring a rain jacket just in case. You'll still get to see some amazing sights, even with a bit of drizzle!

Q: How difficult is the 4-Mile Trail hike? Should I be worried about my fitness level?

A: The 4-Mile Trail is considered a moderate to strenuous hike. It’s about 4.8 miles one way and involves a significant elevation gain. If you're not in great shape, you might want to consider skipping it or planning for plenty of breaks. But don't let that scare you! The views are absolutely worth it, and you can always do part of the hike and turn back if needed.

Thinking of gifting the Yosemite tour—any advice?

I'm looking at getting the Semi Private Yosemite Tour with Ahwahnee Lunch as a gift for my parents. They love nature but aren't hardcore hikers. I know it includes lunch and a pick-up from their hotel, which is great. Can anyone share how the experience was? Did you think they appreciated the small group vibe? Also, does anyone know how hard that 4-Mile Trail is? Thanks!

Just got back from the Yosemite tour—highlight of my trip!

I just got back from the Semi Private Yosemite Tour with Ahwahnee Lunch and wow! The views were unreal, especially from the 4-Mile Trail! We only had a small group, which made it super personal. The picnic lunch was good too, though I missed out on the Ahwahnee meal since we hiked. Totally worth it though! Everyone should try this at least once!
