Q&A
A: Yeah, this tour is pretty family-friendly! There’s no strict age limit, and kids usually love the nature aspect. Just keep in mind that some trails at Exit Glacier can be a bit challenging, so it’s best to supervise younger ones closely. Also, the Historical City Tour is engaging enough for all ages, so everyone can enjoy it!
A: In September, it can get a bit chilly and wet, so definitely dress in layers. I recommend wearing a waterproof jacket, sturdy shoes, and maybe even some gloves. The glacier viewing could be windy, so a hat may be helpful too. Just be prepared for changing weather, and you’ll be good to go!
A: Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season, but there are a few lots around the tour starting point. Just arrive a little early to find a spot. If you’re staying in town, consider walking to the meeting point to save stress. The tour provides complimentary drop-off which is super handy if you have any luggage!

Thinking of gifting the Seward City Tour & Glacier Viewing!
I’m considering this for my sister’s birthday since she loves nature and history. The 2.5-hour combo sounds perfect for her! I wonder how the glacier viewing is? Is it worth it? Also, any tips on the best time to visit?
Just did the Seward City Tour – so much fun!
I just got back from the Seward City Tour and Glacier Viewing! The historical part was really interesting, but the glacier views blew me away. Absolutely stunning! The park rangers were super helpful too. I highly recommend bringing a good camera!
