Q&A

Q: Is the Seward City Tour and Glacier Viewing appropriate for young kids?

A: Yeah, this tour is pretty family-friendly! There’s no strict age limit, and kids usually love the nature aspect. Just keep in mind that some trails at Exit Glacier can be a bit challenging, so it’s best to supervise younger ones closely. Also, the Historical City Tour is engaging enough for all ages, so everyone can enjoy it!

Q: What should I wear for this tour? I’m coming in September.

A: In September, it can get a bit chilly and wet, so definitely dress in layers. I recommend wearing a waterproof jacket, sturdy shoes, and maybe even some gloves. The glacier viewing could be windy, so a hat may be helpful too. Just be prepared for changing weather, and you’ll be good to go!

Q: What’s the parking situation like in Seward for this tour?

A: Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season, but there are a few lots around the tour starting point. Just arrive a little early to find a spot. If you’re staying in town, consider walking to the meeting point to save stress. The tour provides complimentary drop-off which is super handy if you have any luggage!
