Q&A
A: The dogsled tour is pretty resilient! If it rains, they usually still go, but you might want to bring a waterproof jacket just in case. The beautiful Alaskan scenery shines even in the rain, and the dogs love the snow. Just check in with the provider the day before to confirm if it’s all set!
A: Kids as young as 2 can participate, but they’ll need to sit with an adult in the sled. If they’re older, they can stand on the runners with supervision. It’s a fantastic family experience that everyone will love!
A: Parking is generally pretty simple! There’s a lot near the meeting point in Seward, and you shouldn’t have trouble finding a spot. Plus, the transfers are included in the package which makes it super easy to get to the heliport. Just arrive a bit early to enjoy the scenery!

Thinking about the Seward Helicopter Glacier Dogsled Tour – Any tips?
I’m looking to book this experience for my partner’s birthday. It sounds amazing to drive the dogsled and check out the glaciers. Can anyone share what to expect? Is it worth the price? I'm a bit anxious about the helicopter part but excited too! Any must-know details?
Just did the dogsled tour – OMG, what a blast!
I recently booked the Seward Helicopter Glacier Dogsled Tour, and it was unreal! The dogs are awesome, and getting to mush a bit was a dream. The helicopter ride to the glacier was icing on the cake. Totally recommend it for anyone thinking about gifts or even just a fun adventure. So worth it!
