Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but kids under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult. It's a good idea to check with the provider for any specific safety guidelines for younger kids. If your teens are adventurous and don't mind heights, they'll have an amazing time with the views!
A: If the weather isn't suitable for flying, they usually reschedule for another day. The staff is super flexible and will work with you to find a time that works. Refunds are typically not processed unless they cancel the tour entirely, which is rare.
A: The flight itself is usually about an hour, but it can vary depending on the package. As for what to wear, layers are key! It can get chilly up there, so a light jacket is a must, plus comfortable shoes for when you land next to Bear Glacier.

Helicopter tour over Kenai Fjords was breathtaking!
I just got back from the Seward Kenai Fjords Helicopter Tour and wow, it was unreal! The views of the glaciers were insane, especially when we landed near Bear Glacier. Our pilot was super friendly and shared cool facts about the area. The only downside was that it was a bit chilly, so I wish I had dressed warmer. But seeing the seals and a moose from above was totally worth it!
Considering the helicopter tour as a gift - anyone done it?
I'm looking at getting the Seward Kenai Fjords Helicopter Tour for my husband’s birthday. He loves nature and adventure! Just wondering if it’s suitable for someone who’s a little afraid of heights? Also, how’s the overall experience? Worth the price?
