Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Shadows of Shockoe Ghost Tour?

A: No specific age limit, but I'd recommend it for teens and up. The stories can be a bit spooky and might not be suitable for younger kids. Just keep in mind that it might freak out kids a bit! If you’re bringing younger ones, it’s good to prep them for some ghost stories.

Q: What should I wear for the tour? Is it walking-intensive?

A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes because there’s a fair bit of walking involved! Richmond can get chilly in the evenings, so layers are a good idea. Just be prepared for some uneven sidewalks too, and maybe keep a light jacket handy.

Q: Can the tour be rescheduled if we can't make it?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just make sure to give them a heads-up at least 24 hours in advance. They’re pretty flexible and want you to enjoy the experience, so just reach out to them directly.

Just booked the Shadows of Shockoe Ghost Tour for my friends!

So I finally decided to get my friends tickets for the Shadows of Shockoe Ghost Tour in Richmond! I've heard such spooky things about Shockoe Bottom. The guide is supposed to be super knowledgeable about both the hauntings and the history, which is just what I want. Can't wait to hear how they react to the ghost stories! Planning on going next weekend. Anyone got tips for making it more fun?

Anyone else felt creeped out on the Shadows of Shockoe Tour?

I went on this tour last month, and wow, it was intense! The stories were so well-told, and I really felt the history of Shockoe Bottom. At one point, I even thought I saw something in one of the windows! It was both fun and a little terrifying, haha. Thinking of gifting this to my sister for her birthday. She loves all things spooky. Has anyone else experienced anything unusual?
