Q&A

Q: What ages is this experience suitable for? Can my 5-year-old participate?

A: This experience is great for kids aged 4 and up! As long as they're comfortable with getting a bit muddy and being outdoors, they should have a blast. The guide tailors activities to different age levels, so your 5-year-old will definitely find it engaging.

Q: Is there a chance this could get canceled due to bad weather? What happens then?

A: Yes, if the weather is really bad, they might reschedule. They usually try to give you notice, so keep an eye on the forecast. It's best to contact A Walk in the Woods for specifics, but they are pretty accommodating with rescheduling.

Q: Do we need to bring our own snacks or are those provided?

A: Snacks are included in the experience, so you don’t need to bring anything extra! They usually have a range of healthy snacks that kids love. You’ll just want to bring water and maybe a change of clothes if things get super muddy!

Thinking of gifting the Sharing Nature with Children experience!

Hey everyone! I’m considering this experience for my niece's birthday. She’s 8 and loves anything outdoors. I’ve read it’s super hands-on with exploring and snacks provided. Is it really as fun as it sounds? Also, what should she wear? I don’t want her to be uncomfortable!

Has anyone done the Sharing Nature with Children experience?

I’m looking for a unique gift for my nephew's graduation, and this seems perfect! I love that it gets kids engaged with nature. Can anyone share what the day was like? Did the kids enjoy it? And how muddy did they really get?
