Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for the shark cage diving experience?

A: Yes, there are age limits. Children need to be at least 12 years old to participate in the cage diving. If you have anyone younger, they could still enjoy the boat ride and watch from above, but they won't be allowed in the cage. Just make sure to check with them about their height and weight for safety reasons!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our reservation?

A: If the weather is bad, the tour will usually be rescheduled. They’re super understanding about this and will contact you if they need to make changes. Just keep your phone handy for updates. You can also check with them a day before your scheduled dive to get the latest info!

Q: What should we wear for the shark cage diving experience?

A: Wear your swimsuit underneath! You'll want a towel and maybe a light jacket since it can get a bit windy on the boat. The snorkeling gear is provided, so you just need to bring your good vibes and maybe a waterproof camera. Enjoy the dive!

Just finished shark cage diving in Oahu and it was epic!

Hey everyone! I just went shark cage diving with Haleiwa Shark Tours last week, and it was unreal! The crew was super chill and knowledgeable. We saw a bunch of Galapagos sharks, and the thrill of being in the cage was so worth it. They provide all the snorkeling gear, and we even had bottled water on board. It was around $200 each, but honestly, it felt like a bucket list experience! Totally recommend it if you’re in Oahu!

Considering gifting this shark cage experience—thoughts?

Hi all! I’m thinking about gifting the shark cage diving experience to my boyfriend for his birthday since he loves sharks. How intense is it? Is it suitable for someone who’s not a strong swimmer? Any tips on making it a memorable experience would be great!
