Q&A

Q: What's the best time of year to do the LED Night Tour? Are there any weather issues?

A: The LED Night Tour is available year-round, but the best months are April through October for clearer skies and warmer weather. Sarasota can get rain, especially in the summer, so it's good to check the forecast. If it's too stormy, they'll usually reschedule for another night.

Q: How physically demanding is the kayak tour? Is it suitable for kids?

A: The kayak tour is pretty easy and family-friendly! Kids as young as 5 can usually join, but they should be comfortable in the kayak. You paddle at a relaxed pace, and the guides are super helpful.

Q: How do the glass bottom kayaks work? Can you really see underwater?

A: Yes, the glass bottom kayaks are awesome! The LED lights make it easy to see fish and other sea life clearly. Just make sure to keep your eyes peeled while you paddle — it's like a mini aquarium under your boat!

Just got back from Sharkey's Night Tour — absolutely stunning!

I booked the LED Night Tour for me and my partner last weekend in Sarasota, and it was incredible! Paddling through the mangroves at night was magical, and when we turned on the lights, the underwater world came alive. We saw fish, crabs, and even a couple of small stingrays! The guide was super friendly and made sure we were safe. Def recommend this for a fun date night! Prices were reasonable too.

Considering gifting the Glass Bottom Kayak Tour for my parents!

My parents love outdoor activities, and since they're visiting Sarasota soon, I'm thinking of getting them the LED Sunset Tour. I saw that it starts at 8 PM, and I hope it's a great experience! Anyone have feedback on how family-friendly it is? Also, what's the parking situation like around there?
