Q&A
A: There are no strict age restrictions, but it's definitely best for kids aged 4 and up. The tour is designed to be family-friendly, so they can enjoy shelling and learning about marine life. Just make sure to keep an eye on your little ones on the boat and during shelling, as it can get a bit slippery!
A: Casual is definitely the way to go! You'll want to wear swimsuits under your clothes, maybe a hat and sunglasses. Also, don’t forget flip-flops or water shoes, since you might be walking in shallow water while shelling. Bring a light cover-up for when you're on the boat, too!
A: There's plenty of parking available near the Destin Snorkel's location. It's usually not too crowded, but I'd recommend arriving a bit early, just in case. Parking is free, and it's a short walk to the boat. Just keep an eye on your valuables while you’re there!

Just got back from the shelling and dolphin tour in Destin!
Wow, what an experience! We went last weekend, and it was amazing. The kids loved searching for shells and we even found some cool hermit crabs. The captain was super friendly and shared lots of facts about the marine life. We saw dolphins, too! Highly recommend bringing snacks and drinks because it makes the day even better. Can't wait to go back!
Thinking about gifting the shelling and dolphin tour!
I'm considering this as a gift for my sister's family for their trip to Destin. They have kids ages 6 and 8, so I think they’d love it! Is it more of a relaxing day out, or is it pretty active? I want to make sure it’s a good fit for them.
