Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for the Shockoe Slip Ghost Adventure?

A: There's no strict age limit, but I'd recommend it for ages 12 and up just because of the spooky themes and some dark history involved. It's a great experience for teens and adults who enjoy ghost stories. If you bring younger kids, just be prepared for some scary tales!

Q: How long does the tour typically last?

A: The tour lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the group size and how many stories the guide shares. It’s a good mix of walking and listening, so wear comfy shoes. You’ll get to see some cool spots in Shockoe Slip too!

Q: What should we wear for the Shockoe Slip Ghost Adventure? Any tips?

A: Dress in layers! Richmond nights can get chilly, especially near the river. Comfy shoes are a must since you’ll be walking quite a bit. You might want to bring a flashlight too, just in case it gets darker than expected while you’re out there!

Just did the Shockoe Slip Ghost Adventure last night!

OMG, it was such a blast! The stories about the drownings and the train disaster were super creepy but fascinating. Our guide really knew their stuff and made it fun! The whole experience lasted about 2 hours and went through some really cool spots. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to get a chill down their spine in Richmond!

Thinking of gifting the Shockoe Slip Ghost Adventure to my sister!

She loves ghost stories and spooky stuff, but I’m worried if it’ll be too scary for her. Has anyone done this with a friend who’s a bit timid? I'm also curious if the guide adjusts the stories based on who’s in the group.
