Our tour is one-of-a-kind in Philly as it combines vintage shopping with sweets and sips. You will also get a very good feel for the historic district of Old City that will allow you come back and dive deeper into the famous landmarks. We will be starting with a treat at the oldest confectionery store in the country, to be followed by stops at some of our favorite vintage boutiques scattered amongst the charming, historic streets. Each one has a unique, secondhand vibe, so there's sure to be something for everyone. In between some of the shopping we will stop for some delicious pastries as well. Next, we will head towards Center City with a stop in Chinatown on the way. You will get an introduction to Reading Terminal Market, which is one of Philly’s top three tourist attractions. The market can be overwhelming, but we will take you to some favorite vendors and will make you feel truly at home. Sweet bites, a sweet+savory taste, a spirit tasting and a cocktail sip are included.

Q: What should I wear for the shopping and food walking tour in Philly?

A: I'd recommend comfy shoes since you'll be walking around quite a bit. Dress in layers too, because Philly weather can change quickly. I wore a cute but casual outfit and felt totally fine. Just make sure you can enjoy those pastries without feeling restricted!

A: The tour goes on rain or shine! They suggest bringing an umbrella just in case. Since some shops are indoors, you’ll still get to enjoy the experience. They’re also good about rescheduling if it’s really bad, so don't worry too much.

Anyone else love the Shopping and Food Walking Tour in Philly?

I just did the tour last week and it was amazing! We started off at the oldest candy store - the treats were incredible! Then we hit up some really unique vintage shops. I found this awesome retro jacket for only $20. The stops for pastries and snacks were a perfect break too. Highly recommend this for anyone who loves food and shopping!
