Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for riders? Can kids go on this ATV experience?

A: Great question! Kids can definitely join as long as they fit in the helmets provided. Usually, they recommend kids to be at least 5 years old to ride, but it's best to check with Paynes Rec Rentals directly to confirm. The 4-seater is perfect for families, so everyone can enjoy the experience together!

Q: What should we wear for the ATV ride? Is there a dress code?

A: It's recommended to wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes since you'll be outdoors. Long pants are a good idea as they can protect your legs from branches and any dirt. Also, don't forget to layer up if you're going in the cooler months—Bellingham can get chilly!

Q: What if the weather's bad on the day we booked? Can we reschedule?

A: Absolutely, if the weather's really bad, Paynes Rec Rentals allows you to reschedule. They keep an eye on the forecast and will usually reach out if they think the weather will affect your ride. Just make sure to give them a call if you’re uncertain!

Just did the Side by Side ATV Experience in Bellingham—Amazing!

Hey everyone! I just got back from the Side by Side ATV experience with Paynes in the San Juan Islands. Wow! It was so much fun! The new 4-seater ATV had plenty of room for us, and the views were stunning. They provided helmets, and the ride was smooth despite a few bumpy spots. I would definitely recommend it as a gift for any outdoor lover. Prices are super reasonable too. Can't wait to go again!

Thinking of gifting the ATV experience—need some advice!

Hey all! I want to gift the Side by Side ATV Experience to my brother for his birthday. He’s never done it before. Can anyone share how much time you actually get to ride? I want to make sure it’s worth it and he has enough time to enjoy. Plus, is it hard to drive? He’s not super experienced with ATVs.
