Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the Silicon Valley tour?

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but it's mostly suitable for kids aged 10 and up. Younger kids might find it a bit boring unless they're really into tech. They should be able to walk around for a bit, especially during the Stanford campus tour. Just make sure they can handle the walking and the different stops.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?

A: The tour can continue in light rain since most of the major stops are outdoors but they’re generally flexible. If there's severe weather, they'll reschedule you for free. Just make sure to check in with the provider a day prior to the tour.

Q: How long does the Stanford tour part take, and what should we wear?

A: The Stanford walking tour takes about 2 hours. I’d recommend wearing comfortable shoes since you’ll be doing a good amount of walking. The weather can be unpredictable, so layers are a good idea. You might want to bring a light jacket, just in case.

Thinking of gifting the Silicon Valley Tour – any thoughts?

I’m considering this as a gift for my tech-obsessed partner. I think the stops at the Facebook campuses and the Computer History Museum would be amazing. But is it actually worth the price? Also, how's the vibe? I want it to be fun and engaging!

Just did the Silicon Valley Tour and it was awesome!

I just got back from the tour and wow, it exceeded my expectations! The stop at the Garage where HP started was super nostalgic. I took tons of photos at the Apple Park Visitor Center. Also, the guide was super knowledgeable about everything. Highly recommended for anyone into tech!
