Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but kids under 12 should definitely be accompanied by an adult. It's really important they wear a life vest too. I took my 10-year-old nephew, and he had a blast! Just make sure they're comfortable on the water.
A: If the weather is severe, they usually reschedule you for another day. I got rained out once, and they were super flexible. Just make sure to call ahead to confirm your options and keep an eye on the forecast.
A: Dress in comfy clothes that can get wet, like quick-dry shorts and a t-shirt. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat! I went in July and got a little burnt because I didn’t think about it beforehand. Water shoes are a good option too!

Thinking of gifting the glass bottom kayak rental - any advice?
I've been eyeing the glass bottom kayak rental at Silver Springs in Orlando for my partner's birthday. We did the guided tour before and loved it! I think this would be a cool way to see the wildlife again, especially the alligators and turtles. Just a bit worried about the logistics. Should I be concerned about parking or anything like that?
Just did the glass bottom kayak rental - WOW!
I just finished the glass bottom kayak rental at Silver Springs and it was epic! The views were breathtaking, and seeing the fish and turtles underwater through the glass was so cool. The kayaks are super stable too, didn’t feel wobbly at all. I totally recommend this if you're into nature. Oh, and don’t forget your GoPro—there's so much to capture!
