A: There aren't any strict age restrictions for this tour, but it’s great for all ages! Kids love the Fortress of the Bear and the Raptor Center. Just keep in mind that some areas might not be stroller-friendly, so a baby carrier is a good idea for little ones.
A: Definitely dress in layers! Sitka can be chilly, especially near the water. A light rain jacket and comfortable shoes are a must. We did the tour in August and were glad we had hats and gloves for some of the stops!
A: Parking is pretty straightforward since you'll meet at a designated spot downtown. There are public lots around, but they can fill up quickly during peak tourist season. Arrive early if you can, just to grab a good spot!
