A: Yes, if the weather conditions aren't suitable for kayaking, Sitka Sound Ocean Adventures usually allows you to reschedule for another day. Just make sure to give them a call ahead of time to check on availability! They really prioritize safety, and the guides are super accommodating.

Q: Is there an age limit for the kayak tours? I'm thinking of gifting this to my teenager.

A: There's no strict age limit, but they recommend that participants be at least 10 years old for safety reasons. If your teenager is comfortable in the water, it should be a great fit! Just check with the guides beforehand to make sure they're okay with it.

Q: What should we wear for the Sitka Sound Kayak Adventure? Do they provide gear?

A: They provide raingear and all necessary paddling gear, which is great! I recommend wearing layers underneath, like a moisture-wicking shirt and a light jacket, since it can get chilly. Also, wear a pair of water shoes or sandals that you don’t mind getting wet.
