Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for this birding tour?

A: There's no strict age limit, but it's generally suitable for kids aged 12 and up. Kids younger than that might find it a bit long unless they really love nature! Just make sure they can handle some walking and pay attention during the birdwatching.

Q: What should I wear for the tour? Any tips?

A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get chilly, especially near the water. Good walking shoes are a must since you’ll be exploring some trails. A light rain jacket is also a good idea just in case—it’s the Pacific Northwest after all!

Q: What if the weather's bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather is really bad, you can definitely reschedule! Evergreen Escapes is pretty flexible about that. They’ll let you know if they have to cancel, and you can pick another day that works for you.

Thinking about gifting the Skagit Valley Birding Tour!

I’m planning to gift this birding + Deception Pass tour to my parents. They love nature and have never been to that part of Washington. I really like that it includes lunch and snacks, too! Just looking for feedback from anyone who's done it or thoughts on whether it’s a good gift idea.

Just got back from the Skagit Valley tour!

I just did the birding tour last week, and wow, it was such a great experience! The guide was a total pro. We saw tons of birds and had a lovely picnic near the water. The snacks were tasty too! I highly recommend it if you're considering it. I think it'd make a great gift for any nature lover.
