Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for kids on the electric bike tour?

A: Kids aged 12 and up can join the electric bike tour, but they need to be accompanied by an adult. The bikes can be a bit tricky for younger kids, especially the electric ones, so it’s really best to stick to those age recommendations. Make sure your kids are comfortable riding bikes before booking!

Q: Can we reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Yes, if the weather isn’t safe for biking, they’ll usually allow you to reschedule for a different day. It’s best to call ahead, especially if you see bad weather coming your way. Just keep an eye on the forecast and you should be fine!

Q: How hard is it to ride the electric bikes? I'm not very fit.

A: No worries! The electric bikes make it super easy to get around, even if you’re not in the best shape. You can adjust the level of assistance, so you can start easy and ramp it up as you get comfortable. Plus, Skagway is pretty flat, so it’s not too tough!

Thinking of gifting the Skagway Highlights Electric Bike Tour!

I’m considering getting this electric bike tour as a gift for my parents when they visit Skagway next month. They love biking but aren’t super fit, so I’m hoping the electric bikes are easy enough for them. Plus, gold panning sounds like a fun experience they’ve never done! Has anyone done it before? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Anyone else love the gold panning part?

Did the Skagway electric bike tour last week and I can't stop thinking about how much fun the gold panning was! The bike ride was nice and scenic, but when we got to panning, it felt like a real treasure hunt. I actually found some little flakes of gold! Anyone else have cool finds?
