Q&A
A: There’s no specific age limit for the tour! It's pretty kid-friendly, but keep in mind that the mini-bus ride might be a bit long for younger ones. Just make sure they have a valid passport like everyone else. Many families have enjoyed this tour together, so it should be a great outing!
A: I'd recommend going in late spring to early fall when the weather is milder. They do run the tour rain or shine, but the views from White Pass Summit are definitely better when the skies are clear. Always check the forecast before your trip!
A: The pick-up and drop-off are super convenient! They'll meet you right at the dock when your cruise ship arrives. Just make sure you have your passport ready. After the tour, they’ll bring you back to the same spot, so it’s hassle-free.

Considering the Skagway Shore Excursion! Any tips?
I’m thinking about booking the White Pass Summit and Skagway City Tour for my parents while they're on their cruise in Alaska. They love photography and scenic views, so this seems like a perfect fit! Does anyone have experience with this tour? What should they wear? Are the mini-buses comfortable?
Just got back from the White Pass Summit tour - it was amazing!
Wow, just wow! My family did the White Pass tour last week, and it was one of the highlights of our Alaska cruise. The views were stunning, especially at the summit. Our guide took awesome pictures of us at the Gold Rush Cemetery and the 'Welcome to Alaska' sign. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Skagway!
