Q&A

Q: Are there age restrictions for the e-bike tour and sailing experience in Skagway?

A: Yes, there are age restrictions! Generally, riders need to be at least 12 years old to participate in the e-bike tour, and younger kids can ride as passengers if they're accompanied by an adult. As for the sailing portion, it's suitable for all ages, just be sure to dress warmly since it can get chilly out on the water.

Q: What should I wear for the Skagway Trail and Sail experience? Is it really chilly out on the water?

A: Layers are key! For the e-bike ride, wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. A light jacket is a good idea since it can get windy during the sail. Definitely bring something warmer for the boat because the temps drop once you’re out on the fjord. Don’t forget sunglasses and sunscreen—reflected sunlight can be strong!

Q: What if the weather turns bad? Can we reschedule our sailing part?

A: Absolutely, safety first! If the weather's really bad, you can reschedule for another day. Just make sure to give them a call ahead of time to let them know. They'll do their best to accommodate you. I've heard that the folks at Klondike Electric Bicycles are super flexible with rescheduling due to weather.

Who’s done the Skagway Trail and Sail? Give me your thoughts!

I just booked this experience for my sister’s birthday! She loves the outdoors and adventure, so an eco-friendly e-bike tour followed by sailing sounds perfect. I'm curious about the charcuterie box they mentioned—anyone know what’s typically included? I hope there’s enough for everyone! Also, how's the ride on the e-bikes? I haven’t seen her in a while, so I'm hoping it's an unforgettable day!

Thinking of gifting the Skagway Trail and Sail experience!

This tour looks amazing! I’m considering it for my parents’ anniversary. They’re in their early 60s and love nature. The idea of seeing glaciers and maybe some wildlife is really appealing. Is the biking portion pretty easy? I just want to make sure they’ll be comfortable and able to enjoy it fully.
