Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this waterfall tour? Can kids join?

A: Kids are definitely welcome on the Skagway Waterfall Tour! It’s a great family-friendly experience, but just keep in mind that the hike to Reid Falls requires a moderate walking ability. If your kids are used to outdoor activities and can handle uneven surfaces, they should be just fine. Just make sure they have good shoes and are ready for a little adventure!

Q: What should we wear for the hike to Reid Falls?

A: Definitely wear sturdy shoes since the trail isn’t paved and can be slippery. I’d recommend layers because it can get chilly near the waterfalls, but you’ll warm up during the hike. Waterproof jackets are a good idea just in case! And don’t forget a small backpack for your water and snacks.

Q: How does the parking situation look around Skagway?

A: Parking in Skagway can be a bit tricky, especially during the cruise season. There are a few public lots available, but they can fill up quickly. I suggest arriving early to secure a spot or consider using public transport if you’re staying nearby. The tour company usually provides pickup options if you’re at a hotel in town, so that might be the easiest route!

Just got back from the Skagway Waterfall Tour - what an experience!

I did the Skagway Waterfall Tour last week and it blew my mind! The guide was super knowledgeable and the views at Bridal Veil Falls were stunning. Getting to actually put my hands under the water was definitely a highlight. The hike to Reid Falls was a bit challenging but totally worth it! I recommend bringing a camera because the photo ops are everywhere. Anyone else had a great time on this tour?

Considering the Skagway Waterfall Tour as a gift - is it worth it?

I’m thinking of getting this waterfall tour for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loves nature and hiking. I’m just a bit worried about the difficulty level for someone who isn’t super fit. Has anyone done this tour? What do you think? Should I go for it?
