Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the guided tour? My son is 5 and loves trains!

A: There’s no specific age limit for the guided tour, and they are pretty welcoming to younger kids. Just keep in mind that the tour lasts around 45 minutes, so your little one might need a snack break! It's a good idea to check in with the staff if you're unsure about his attention span.

Q: What should I wear for the railcar tour? Is it outdoors?

A: The tour is mostly outdoors as you walk between the railcars, so dress comfortably for the weather. I recommend wearing closed-toe shoes since you might be walking on gravel or uneven surfaces. Also, wear layers just in case it gets chilly!

Q: Can I reschedule if plans change? What’s the policy?

A: Yes, you can reschedule your tour if you give them a heads up at least 24 hours beforehand. Just call or email, and they’ll work with you. It’s pretty flexible, which is nice!

Just got back from the Historic RailPark tour—so much fun!

I took my kids to the Historic RailPark and did the guided railcar tour last weekend. The tour guide was super knowledgeable and really engaged the kids, which was awesome! The museum had some cool exhibits too. If you're in Bowling Green, this is such a fun way to spend a couple of hours. Highly recommend it for families!

Thinking of getting these tickets as a gift!

I’m considering getting tickets to the Historic RailPark for my brother’s family for Christmas. They have three kids who are crazy about trains! Has anyone done this experience? Is it worth it?
