Q&A
A: This private tour is designed for families with kids ages 5-12, so your 5 and 10-year-olds will fit right in! The guide tailors activities and stories to keep everyone engaged, which is super important. I took my 8 and 11-year-olds and they had a blast! Just make sure to discuss any specific interests they have beforehand.
A: If the weather's really bad, you can reschedule the tour without any penalty as long as you give them a heads up. They’re pretty flexible about that, which is great! Just reach out to Pinocchio Tours as soon as possible. I had to reschedule once and they were super understanding.
A: Definitely wear comfy shoes! There’s a good amount of walking since the Met is huge, but it’s not too strenuous. Dress casually, but keep in mind it might get chilly inside the museum. Layers are your friend! My kids wore sneakers and were totally fine.

Just booked the private tour for the kids at the Met!
I’m so excited! Just got tickets for the Skip the Line Kids and Families tour. My kids are 6 and 8, and we’ve always wanted to explore the Met but thought it’d be too overwhelming. The private guide sounds perfect! Plus, I heard they cover the Egyptian artifacts which my kids are obsessed with. Can’t wait to see their faces when they see the mummies!
Considering the Met tour for my nieces - worth it?
I’m shopping for a birthday gift for my two nieces (10 and 12). They love art, and I think this private tour would blow their minds! Is it really worth the price? I know it skips the lines, but how engaging are the guides? Any tips?
