Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour?

A: Great question! There’s really no strict age limit, but it’s best suited for kids aged 5 to 12. The guide tailors the activities to keep them engaged, so younger kids tend to enjoy it the most. Just make sure they can handle a 2.5-hour tour!

Q: What should we wear for the tour? Is it fancy?

A: Casual is totally fine! Most families wear comfy clothes and sneakers since you’ll be walking a lot. Just keep in mind that you might want layers because the museum can get chilly. No need to dress up!

Q: Can we reschedule if something comes up last minute?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just reach out to Mamma Mia! Tours at least 48 hours in advance and they should help you find a new time slot. They’re pretty flexible, which is great for families.

Thinking about the Skip-the-line Met Tour for my niece's birthday!

Hey everyone! I’m considering getting this tour as a gift for my niece’s 10th birthday. She loves art and history, so I think she’d get a kick out of it. I saw that it includes a treasure hunt, which sounds amazing! But I’m a bit worried about how she’ll do with the 2.5 hours. Anyone have experience with it? Did the kids stay engaged the whole time?

Just did the Met tour with my kids and it was fantastic!

Wow, I can’t recommend this enough. We went last week and my kids (ages 6 and 9) were totally engrossed. The skip-the-line was a lifesaver! Our guide made everything super fun, especially the games. The Egyptian mummies were definitely a hit! If you’re on the fence about this, just do it! So worth it.
