Q&A

Q: What should I wear for the Alaskan Husky Life Experience? Will it be cold?

A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get pretty chilly in Fairbanks, especially if you’re outside meeting the Huskies. I'd recommend thermal wear, a good winter coat, and waterproof boots. Also, don't forget gloves and a hat! You'll want to stay warm while you enjoy the experience.

Q: Is there an age limit for kids? Can my 5-year-old join?

A: Kids of all ages can join in on the fun! Just keep in mind that younger ones might need a little extra supervision, especially around the dogs. It's a hands-on experience, so they should be okay as long as an adult is with them. They’ll love playing with the Huskies!

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Can I reschedule?

A: If the weather is too extreme, they’ll likely offer to reschedule for you, especially if safety is a concern. Just check their policy when you book. They've been really flexible with rescheduling in the past.

I'm considering gifting the Alaskan Homestead & Husky Life Experience to my sister for her birthday. She loves dogs and I know this includes meeting 20 Huskies! It sounds unique and I love that it includes snacks and warm drinks. Has anyone done this? What was your favorite part?
