Q&A
A: Definitely wear comfortable shoes! The tour includes some walking on varied terrain, and you’ll probably want to stop for pictures at the highlights. Breathable clothing is a good idea, especially if it’s warm. If you know it’s going to rain, bring a light poncho or an umbrella. Enjoy the tour!
A: Absolutely! The tour is family-friendly and kids are definitely welcome. John has experience with families, and he’ll keep it engaging for all ages. Just keep in mind that it involves some walking and stairs, so be prepared for that. Your kiddo will love it!
A: If the weather looks bad, John usually offers to reschedule the tour or provides a full refund if that’s not possible. Just keep an eye on the forecast and reach out a day or two ahead to confirm. It’s good that he’s flexible, especially in NYC where weather can change fast!

Thinking about booking the Central Park walking tour, any advice?
Hey everyone! I'm considering booking the Small Group Walking Tour of Central Park for my boyfriend's birthday. I've heard great things about John and how he keeps the groups small. I saw it's free to book, but what about tips? How much should I tip him after the tour? Also, any highlights I shouldn't miss?
Just did the Central Park tour and loved it!
I went on the Central Park walking tour with John last weekend and it was amazing! He has so much knowledge about the park and the history behind it. We visited places I had never seen before, like the Bow Bridge and the Conservatory Garden. The small group made it feel really personal. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting NYC!
