Q&A
A: Kids aged 5 and up are welcome on the airboat ride! Just keep in mind that they must be able to sit independently and wear a life jacket, which is provided. It's a fun experience for families, and kids usually get a kick out of the speedy ride and wildlife sightings.
A: Definitely wear layers as it can get a bit windy out there, but it's usually warm. Bring a light jacket just in case! Also, wear closed-toe shoes and maybe some quick-dry pants because water can splash up. Sunglasses and a hat are a plus for sun protection!
A: If there's heavy rain or storms, the tour will be rescheduled or canceled for safety reasons. They usually let you know the night before if there's a concern, and you can easily reschedule for another day. Just keep an eye on the weather as your date approaches!

Just did the Bayou Airboat Ride and it was AMAZING!
I took the Small-Group Bayou Airboat Ride last weekend and wow, what a thrill! We sped through the swamps, saw herons and even a couple of alligators up close. The guide shared awesome stories about the bayou's history too. The pickup from our hotel was super convenient. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting NOLA! Just watch the weather beforehand.
Thinking of gifting the airboat ride to my husband!
I'm considering getting my husband the Small-Group Bayou Airboat Ride for his birthday. He loves nature and adventure, but I'm worried it might be too short. Is 1.5 hours enough time to really enjoy it? Any tips on making it special?
