Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There's no specific age limit, but it's generally recommended for kids aged 8 and up. The tour involves some walking, especially in Volcanoes National Park, so younger kids might find it challenging. If your kids are adventurous and enjoy nature, they'll likely have a great time!

Q: What should we wear for the stargazing part, any tips?

A: Definitely bring layers! It can get chilly at Mauna Kea once the sun goes down. The tour provides jackets, but wearing your own warm clothes like a long sleeve shirt or hoodie is a good idea. And don't forget comfy shoes for walking around!

Q: Can I reschedule if something comes up?

A: Yes, you can reschedule your tour with at least 48 hours' notice. Just reach out to Wasabi Tours, and they’ll help you find another date. Life happens, so they’re pretty flexible with changes!

Just did the Twilight Volcano Tour - WOW!

I just got back from the Small Group Big Island Twilight Volcano Tour, and it was incredible! We saw the lava tubes, the Chain of Craters Road, and the black sand beaches were breathtaking. Our guide was super knowledgeable about everything, and the stargazing at Mauna Kea was the cherry on top. Dinner was delicious too. Totally recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hawaii!

Thinking of gifting this tour. Is it worth it?

I’m considering getting this Twilight Volcano and Stargazing Tour as a gift for my parents who are visiting Hawaii. They love nature and would appreciate the history too. Is the dinner provided good? I want to make it special for them!
