Q&A
A: The tour is suitable for older kids, usually 12 and up, but it really depends on their biking skills. I'd recommend checking with the provider, Green Path Pedals, as they might have specific guidelines. Just keep in mind that it is an 85-mile ride, so they should be comfortable on a bike. Safety is key!
A: Yes, Green Path Pedals has a pretty flexible rescheduling policy. You can usually move your date with at least a week's notice without any issues. Just make sure to reach out to them as soon as you can!
A: Comfort is key! Wear breathable clothing and sturdy shoes. Sunscreen is a must because you'll be in the sun. A good bike helmet is also necessary, but they might provide those. If you have padded shorts, definitely wear them for extra comfort on that long ride!

Just did the bike tour to Lake Geneva and it was amazing!
I went on the small group bike tour from Chicago to Lake Geneva last weekend and I can't recommend it enough! The ride was beautiful, especially along the coastline. Stopping at the Bahá'í temple was a highlight for me. The inn we stayed at was cozy and the breakfast was delicious! The kayaking the next day was super relaxing. Plus, picking apples at the Apple Barn was such a nice touch. Perfect for a weekend getaway!
Thinking of gifting this bike tour to my parents, any thoughts?
I want to surprise my parents with the bike tour from Chicago to Lake Geneva for their anniversary. They've never done anything like this before! Do you think it’s a good idea? Are there any tips or things they should know?
