Our daily Wreck Dives are ideal for more experienced divers, as we dive deeper wrecks and reefs in the early morning. Typically, we dive one deep shipwreck (maximum depth around 100 feet/30 meters) and then visit one of our beautiful coral reefs for our second dive (40-60 feet/12-18 meters). Depending on conditions and currents, as well as what your group wants to dive, sometimes we are able to do a double wreck dive. If the conditions are ideal, we can dive three different wrecks in one two-dive trip!

Q&A

Q: What’s the age limit for this dive experience in Oahu?

A: For the small-group deep dive experience, divers need to be at least 12 years old. However, anyone under 18 needs to be accompanied by an adult. It’s really important to be comfortable with deeper dives, so I’d recommend checking their certification requirements if you’re getting this for a younger diver.

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Yes, if the weather conditions are not safe for diving, Hawaiian Diving Adventures will work with you to reschedule. They generally let you know the night before if cancellations are necessary. Just keep in mind that weekends book up fast!

Q: What should we wear for the dive experience?

A: You’ll want to wear a swimsuit and bring a rash guard if you have one—it's nice to have some sun protection and warmth. Wetsuits are usually provided, and definitely don’t forget your sunscreen! Also, wear flip-flops or water shoes for easy access on the boat.

Just booked the Deep Dive in Oahu, any tips?

Hey everyone! I just booked the small-group deep dive with Hawaiian Diving Adventures for my partner's birthday. It's a wreck dive, and I’m so excited! We’re both certified divers, but it’ll be our first time diving in Oahu. What do you guys recommend we do before the dive? Any insider tips on how to make the most of it?

Anyone tried the wreck dives in Oahu? Worth it?

I’m considering gifting this small-group deep dive experience. I’ve heard it can be amazing if the conditions are right! Can anyone share their thoughts on the experience? How was the shipwreck? Any tips on what to expect during the dive?
