Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Garden District tour?

A: There's no strict age limit for the tour, but it's generally more suitable for older kids and adults since it's a walking tour with some historical context. Younger kids might get bored or struggle with the walking, but they’re welcome if they can keep up! Just make sure to check with Unique NOLA if you have specific concerns about young children joining.

Q: What should I wear for the walking tour?

A: Definitely wear comfortable walking shoes! The tour includes a decent amount of walking, and you want to be ready for it. In terms of clothing, light, breathable fabrics are best since New Orleans can get quite warm. A hat and sunscreen are also good ideas if it’s sunny!

Q: What if the weather's bad on the day of the tour?

A: Unique NOLA usually monitors the weather closely. If there’s a significant chance of rain or severe weather, they’ll reach out to reschedule you. Just keep an eye on your email, and they usually give pretty good notice. If it’s just light rain, the tour might still go on, so come prepared!

Just did the Garden District tour! Amazing!

I went on the Small-Group Glamorous Garden District Tour last week and it was such a fantastic experience! Our guide was super knowledgeable about the history and pointed out all these gorgeous houses on Magazine Street, including Sandra Bullock's! We even stopped at Lafayette Cemetery, which was really intriguing. The small group vibe made it feel personalized. Totally recommend it as a gift for anyone who loves architecture or history!

Considering gifting the Garden District tour!

I'm thinking about gifting the Garden District tour to my sister who loves true crime and American Horror Story. Is it a good fit? I’ve heard they visit the Coven House! Also, how long does the tour usually last? I want to make sure she has enough time to soak it all in!
