Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age requirement for the tour?

A: Yes, there is a minimum age requirement, which is generally 6 years old. Children under this age might not enjoy the tour fully due to the nature of the activities involved. It's best to check with the provider, The Colorado Sightseer, as they can provide specifics based on the group’s needs.

Q: What should I wear for this tour? Any recommendations?

A: Wear comfortable shoes since you'll be doing some walking, especially at Red Rocks Park. Layered clothing is a must because it can be chilly in the morning but warm up later. Don’t forget sunscreen and a hat if it's sunny!

Q: Can I reschedule if my plans change?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just make sure to contact The Colorado Sightseer at least 48 hours in advance. They’re pretty flexible, but last-minute changes might not be possible. It's always good to double-check their cancellation policy.

Just got back from the Foothills of the Rockies tour—amazing!

I just did the small-group half-day tour from Denver and wow, Red Rocks Park is even more stunning in person! Our guide was super knowledgeable and made the history of the area so interesting. We also had time for some cool shops in Golden and the view from Lookout Mountain was breathtaking. Totally worth the price, and I’m thinking of gifting this experience to my sister for her birthday!

Thinking about this tour as a gift—any advice?

I'm planning to get this half-day tour from Denver as a gift for my parents. They love nature and exploring new places, but I’m worried they might find it too physically demanding. Has anyone done this tour with older folks? How was it?
