Q&A

Q: What should we wear for the walking tour? Is it casual or more upscale?

A: I'd recommend wearing comfortable shoes since you'll be walking quite a bit! Casual attire is totally fine, but Charleston can get hot, so breathable fabrics are a must. You might also want to bring a hat or sunglasses, especially if you're going during the summer.

Q: Are children allowed on the tour? What's the age limit?

A: Yes, kids are welcome! There isn't a strict age limit, but keep in mind that some stories might be more suited for older children and adults. If you think your kids will enjoy history, they'll do great! Just be sure they can handle the walking and listening.

Q: Can I reschedule if the weather is bad?

A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if the weather doesn't cooperate. Just reach out to the provider, and they'll help you find a new date. Typically, they’re super accommodating about it, which is great!

Thinking of gifting the Historic Charleston walking tour - anyone's experience?

I’m considering giving my parents the Small Group Historic Charleston walking tour for their anniversary. They love history and this seems perfect! Has anyone done it? How was the guide? Any tips on the best times to go?

Just did the walking tour, and WOW!

I just finished the Historic Charleston walking tour with Mike! It was such a great experience. He shared so many fascinating stories about the Civil War and the architecture. If you’re on the fence about booking, do it! You won’t regret it!
