Q&A
A: There are no specific age restrictions, but keep in mind that everyone must be 21 or older to participate in wine tastings. If your kids are 21+, they'll have a great time! It's perfect for adult kids looking to enjoy a scenic day out in Napa and Sonoma.
A: I'd say dress comfortably, but aim for smart casual. Think cute sundresses or nice shorts and a polo for the day. You'll be outdoors at the wineries, so wear shoes that are easy to walk in since you might be strolling through vineyards. Layers are a good idea, too, in case it gets chilly!
A: You can usually reschedule your tour by contacting Tower Tours directly, and there shouldn't be any fees as long as you give them notice ahead of time. Just try to do it at least 24 hours in advance for the best chances! They’re pretty flexible about changes.

Just did the half-day wine tour from SF—loved it!
I went on the Small Group Napa and Sonoma Half-Day Wine Tour last week and it was amazing! We visited two wineries and did 3 tastings at each. The views were stunning, especially with the vineyards and mountains in the background. Our guide was super knowledgeable and made the trip fun! I even got to try a fantastic Cabernet that I’m still dreaming about. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a chill day out.
Thinking about gifting this wine tour!
I’m considering this tour as a birthday gift for my sister. She loves wine! But do you think it’s suitable for someone who’s not super into wine? Like, will she still enjoy it if she’s more of a casual drinker? Any thoughts?
