Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit, but kids should be at least 5 years old to appreciate the tour. Just keep in mind that the tour includes a fair amount of walking at Hoover Dam and other stops, so younger kids might need a little extra help. We had a great time with our 8-year-old, who loved the dam!
A: Wear comfortable clothes and shoes! The tour includes some walking, especially at the dam itself. I'd recommend layering since it can get quite warm outside but cooler inside the Power Plant. Also, don't forget sunglasses and sunscreen, especially if you're going in summer!
A: The tour typically runs rain or shine, but if there's severe weather that makes it unsafe, they will offer to reschedule or provide a refund. I’d recommend giving them a call a day or two before your booked date to confirm. They’re pretty flexible, which is nice!

Just did the Hoover Dam tour - absolutely loved it!
I took the Small Group Seven Magic Mountains tour last weekend and it was incredible! We stopped at the Welcome to Las Vegas Sign and then headed to Seven Magic Mountains – those colorful rocks are a must-see! The guide was super knowledgeable about the history of the Hoover Dam. We even saw some Big Horn Sheep! The included lunch was great too. Honestly, it’s the best way to spend a morning in Vegas. Highly recommend it as a gift, especially for anyone who loves nature!
Considering this Hoover Dam tour as a gift - anyone done it?
I’m thinking about getting this Small Group Seven Magic Mountains tour for my parents. They’re in their 60s and love sightseeing. Is it too much walking for them? Also, how's the food? Any tips or advice would be really helpful!
