Q&A
A: The minimum age for this dive experience is typically 12, but it's best to check with Dive Maui as they might have specific rules. As long as your son is certified and meets the health criteria, he should be good to go! Make sure he’s comfortable with diving before you book.
A: Definitely wear a swimsuit under your wetsuit, and bring a light rash guard if you get cold easily. Also, don’t forget a pair of water shoes! You’ll want something comfy for when you’re on the boat or walking into the water. Dive Maui usually provides everything else you need.
A: Yes, if the weather isn't suitable for the dive, Dive Maui will typically reschedule your trip. They prioritize safety above all! They’ll notify you in advance if anything changes, so keep an eye on your email for updates.

Just did the shark and turtle dive in Maui! Mind-blowing experience!
I recently went on the Small-Group Shark and Turtle Dive with Dive Maui, and wow, what an adventure! The pier was full of life—it felt like swimming in an aquarium. Getting up close to the pregnant reef shark was unreal! The turtles were everywhere, just gliding through the water. Totally worth the price, which, by the way, is free for the experience but don't forget about the tips! Definitely recommend it as a gift for any diver.
