I’m planning to surprise my parents with this Sitka excursion while they’re on their cruise. They love nature and history, so I think they’ll really enjoy the Fortress of the Bear and the national park. Has anyone done this tour? How was the guide? I want to make sure it’s worthwhile!

Just did the Small Group Shore Excursion - so worth it!

I went on this tour a few weeks ago and it was one of the highlights of my Alaska trip! The visit to the Fortress of the Bear was unforgettable. The bears were so cute and the guide had a ton of interesting facts. The drive across O’Connell Bridge was stunning too! Highly recommend it if you’re in Sitka!
