Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this snorkeling tour?

A: Yes, there is a minimum age of 5 years old to join the snorkeling expedition. Kids under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult. If you're planning to gift this to a family, it’s a great way for everyone to enjoy the experience together! Just make sure the kids are comfortable in the water.

Q: What should we wear for the snorkeling day?

A: Definitely wear your swimsuit! Bring a towel, reef-safe sunscreen, and maybe a rash guard if you burn easily. The boat can get a little windy, so a light jacket could be nice for the ride. Footwear like water shoes or flip-flops are great since you might walk on rocky areas.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our tour?

A: If the weather doesn't cooperate, the crew will usually reschedule your tour for a later date. They prioritize safety, so if conditions aren't good for snorkeling, they'll let you know. It's best to keep your schedule a bit flexible just in case!

Thinking of gifting the Small Group Snorkeling Expedition - any tips?

Hey all! I'm considering gifting the Small Group Snorkeling Expedition in South Kona to my parents. They love the ocean and have never been snorkeling. Any tips on what to expect? Do they provide all the gear? Also, how long does the tour usually last?

Just got back from the South Kona Snorkeling Expedition - WOW!

Guys, I just did this snorkeling tour and it was incredible! Kealakekua Bay was stunning. We saw so many fish and even some dolphins! The lunch they provided was tasty, too - I went with the turkey sandwich. It felt like a personal experience since the group was small. Totally recommend it!
