Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the sunset sail? I'm thinking about bringing my kids.

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but keep in mind that the sail is designed for a relaxed vibe. Kids can definitely come along if they’re comfortable on the water. Just make sure they’re supervised, as the boat can sway a bit. Overall, it's a family-friendly experience!

Q: What happens if the weather's bad on the day of our sail? Do we get rescheduled?

A: Yes, if the weather conditions aren’t safe to sail, they will definitely reschedule you. You can also choose to get a full refund if that works better for you. They usually give you a heads up well in advance, so you don’t have to worry about showing up to a canceled sail.

Q: What should we wear for the sunset sail? Is it chilly on the water?

A: Definitely dress in layers! It can get a bit breezy once you're out on the bay, especially as the sun goes down. I'd recommend a light jacket or windbreaker. They provide warm blankets, but it's nice to have your own cozy stuff too. Also, don’t forget sunglasses and sunscreen!

Just got back from the sunset sail, and wow, what an experience!

I did the Small Group Sunset Sail in San Diego last weekend with a couple of friends, and it was genuinely amazing! The views of the skyline and the USS Midway were stunning, especially as the sun dipped below the horizon. The captain was super chill, and we even got some live music from the Rady Shell. Highly recommend bringing a light jacket since it gets a bit nippy at night. Our little snacks (the Milan cookies were delish!) made the experience even better. I'm definitely considering gifting this to my parents!

Considering this sunset sail as a surprise birthday gift!

I’m planning to surprise my boyfriend with this sunset sail for his birthday. It sounds like such a relaxed way to spend the evening together! I love that it’s a small group too, just 6 people max. Can anyone share how the booking process works? Is it easy to choose a date?
