Q&A
A: I went in early May and it was warm during the day, so I wore a light t-shirt and shorts. The Skywalk itself can get a bit windy, so I’d recommend bringing a light jacket just in case. Also, wear comfortable shoes since you’ll be walking around a bit at the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam!
A: I’m scared of heights too, but the Skywalk was an amazing experience! It’s very stable and the staff are super helpful. Just take your time and enjoy the views. If you get too nervous, you can always step back.
A: You usually get about 30 minutes at Hoover Dam, which is plenty of time for some great photos and a quick walk. The tour guide will give you some interesting facts too! It’s a nice little break before heading back to Vegas.

Just got back from the Grand Canyon West Rim tour—amazing experience!
I took my parents on the Grand Canyon West Rim tour last week, and it was incredible! We departed from our hotel on the Strip, and the Mercedes van was super comfy with leather seats. The Skywalk was a highlight—standing 4000+ feet above the river was unreal! Lunch at the Skyview Restaurant was delicious too. My dad loved Hoover Dam; he took so many pictures! Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a great day trip from Vegas.
Thinking of gifting the Grand Canyon tour to my brother—any tips?
I want to surprise my brother with this Grand Canyon West Rim tour for his birthday. He loves nature but never visited the Grand Canyon. What do you think—is it a good gift? I’m curious about the details like the food and the view! Any tips for making the day special?
