Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids should be comfortable in the water. I saw families with kids as young as 5 on the tour. Just make sure they’re supervised and can swim a bit. The guides are really great at giving snorkel instructions for all levels!
A: Light swimwear is best! A rash guard can protect you from the sun as well as the occasional jellyfish. Don't forget reef-safe sunscreen! You'll also want to bring a towel and maybe a change of clothes for afterwards since it can get a bit chilly on the boat.
A: If the weather is bad, they’ll usually reschedule the tour. You can contact them directly to confirm. Safety is their priority, and they’re pretty good about notifying you if conditions are unsuitable. Plus, you can always rebook for free if you didn’t see turtles during your original trip!

Just went on the Turtle Canyon Snorkel and it was AMAZING!
I just got back from the Turtle Canyon snorkeling tour and wow, what an experience! We saw at least five sea turtles and tons of colorful fish. The boat was super nice, and there were only 6 of us, so we got a lot of personal attention. The guides were super passionate and shared a lot of cool info about the marine life. Highly recommend it as a gift for anyone who loves the ocean!
Considering gifting the Turtle Canyon Snorkel experience. Thoughts?
I’m looking at this small group snorkeling tour in Waikiki as a gift for my partner’s birthday. He loves the ocean but hasn’t snorkeled before. I’m a bit nervous about how he’ll handle it. Has anyone done this? Is it beginner-friendly?
