Q&A

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the tour?

A: If the weather is really bad, like heavy rain or thunderstorms, they'll usually reschedule the tour for you. Just make sure to keep an eye on the forecast and check in with Evolution Expeditions. They’re super accommodating about it! Bring a light jacket just in case; it can get windy up on the bridge.

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids should be able to walk a bit and enjoy the history. Most families bring kids aged 10 and up, and they’ve had a blast! Just make sure they’re interested in the topics, as it can be a lot of information.

Q: What's the best way to get to the Hoover Dam for the tour?

A: Most people drive, and parking is available near the visitor center. If you’re staying in Las Vegas, it’s about a 30-minute drive. There’s also a shuttle service that some folks use; it makes it super easy if you don’t want to worry about parking. Just make sure you arrive a bit early to enjoy the views!

Just did the Hoover Dam tour and wow, what an experience!

I went on the small group Hoover Dam walking tour last week with Evolution Expeditions, and it was amazing. We had only 10 people in our group, and our guide was super knowledgeable. Crossing the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge gave me chills! The views were breathtaking. We also got to go inside the Power Plant, which was just as cool as I hoped. Totally recommend it for anyone visiting Las Vegas. Just bring good walking shoes!

Thinking about gifting the Hoover Dam tour - worth it?

I’m looking to get something cool for my dad’s birthday and thought about this Hoover Dam tour. He loves history and engineering stuff, so I think he’d dig it. Any suggestions on what to expect? How's the snack situation? Lol. He can be picky!
