Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the Small Group Tour in DC?

A: There's no specific age restriction for the tour, but it's best suited for kids ages 7 and up since the content is more historical and could be boring for younger children. The guides are great at engaging with all ages, but just keep in mind younger kids might lose interest. If you bring little ones, you might want to prep them ahead of time!

Q: What should we wear for the DC tour? Is it a lot of walking?

A: Definitely wear comfy shoes! The tour involves a fair amount of walking, especially around the memorials. Dress for the weather too—if it’s hot, light clothes are better, and if it might rain, a light jacket and an umbrella wouldn’t hurt. The guides are super accommodating with breaks, so don’t worry about feeling rushed!

Q: What if the weather's bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather's really not cooperating, you can definitely reach out to customer service to reschedule. They’re super friendly and usually will get you into another time slot without an issue. Just make sure to contact them as soon as you know there's a problem!

Thinking of gifting the Small Group DC Tour with Changing of the Guard!

I’m looking to get this tour for my parents who are visiting DC next month. They love history and I thought this would be a great way to explore. I see it covers Arlington Cemetery and the Lincoln Memorial, which they've always wanted to see. Has anyone done this tour recently? How’s the experience? And is it good for older folks?

Just did the DC Tour and it was AMAZING!

I can’t recommend the Small Group Washington DC Tour enough! We had an awesome guide who spoke Spanish, and he made the history come alive. The Changing of the Guard at Arlington was breathtaking. We got to take tons of pics at each landmark, and the luxury van was super comfortable! Worth every penny. You guys should totally do it!
