A: Yes! The Smart Start Kayaking Course is suitable for ages 12 and up, but kids under 18 need an adult to sign a waiver. It’s a great way to introduce younger folks to kayaking in a safe, guided environment. Just make sure the kids are comfortable in the water!
A: Comfort is key! Wear lightweight, quick-drying clothes, and closed-toe shoes like water shoes or sandals with straps. It can get warm in Orlando, so sunscreen and a hat are also a good idea. Just avoid cotton because it takes forever to dry!
A: Rescheduling is pretty straightforward! Just contact Venture Outdoors at least 48 hours before your scheduled class. They’ll help you find another date that works for you. Just keep in mind that they have a small class size, so the earlier you reschedule, the better!
