Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for this snorkeling experience?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids should be at least 8 years old to participate comfortably. It’s a great family activity! Just make sure they’re comfortable in the water. Also, the guide can help with any safety concerns.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather isn’t great, you can definitely reschedule! They’re pretty flexible with that, just give them a call. It’s for safety, and they want you to have the best experience on Jean Cousteau’s Reef.

Q: What should we wear for snorkeling? Any tips?

A: Definitely wear a swimsuit and maybe a rash guard for sun protection! Water shoes can be helpful too if you're hopping in and out of the boat. They provide all the snorkeling gear, but if you have your own wetsuit, it’s a great idea to bring that, especially if you get cold easily.

Thinking of gifting the Snorkel Fort Lauderdale experience!

Hey everyone! I’m considering giving my fiancé the Snorkel Fort Lauderdale trip at Jean Cousteau’s Reef for his birthday. I’ve heard it’s amazing and the reef is beautiful. Has anyone done this? What should I know before booking? I want to make sure it’s a fun day for him.

Any tips for first-time snorkelers at Jean Cousteau's Reef?

I’m really excited to try snorkeling for the first time at Jean Cousteau's Reef soon! I’ve heard it’s beautiful and they have all the gear included. Is there anything I should bring or know ahead of time? I want to make sure I have a good time!
