Avoid the big waves and crowds with this more relaxed snorkel experience geared for all skill levels. Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join this snorkeling experience?

A: There's no strict age limit, but kids should be at least 8 years old to handle snorkeling gear and understand safety. Younger kids can join if they’re accompanied by an adult, so it's pretty family-friendly! Just make sure they’re comfortable in the water.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our snorkeling tour?

A: If conditions aren’t safe, SnorkelMatt will reschedule your session. They’re super flexible and will work with you to find a new date that fits your schedule. Definitely keep an eye on the forecast as your date approaches!

Q: What kind of snorkeling equipment is provided? Do I need to bring anything?

A: They provide everything you need—snorkels, masks, and wetsuits! Just bring your swimsuit and a towel. Also, sunscreen is a must, but make sure it’s reef-safe. You can leave the heavy stuff at home!

Looking for gift ideas? Just did the snorkeling experience at Mission Bay!

I just went snorkeling with SnorkelMatt in Mission Bay and it was awesome! The small group made it super personal and Matt’s knowledge of marine life is incredible. We saw so many fish and he even explained the ecosystem. It’s definitely more laid-back than La Jolla. I'm thinking about gifting this experience to my sister's family for their trip next month. Anyone else tried it?

Snorkeling in Mission Bay - Worth it?

Thinking about booking this snorkeling experience for my boyfriend’s birthday. He loves marine life but we’ve never done snorkeling before. The price is great, but I just wanna know if it’s really as cool as it sounds! Anyone had a memorable moment during their tour?
